UNE 9.6 Compliance Requirements for WCAG Guidelines: The five compliance requirements of WCAG 2.1 Guidelines must be met at AA level::

  • Use of technologies exclusively according to methods that are compatible with accessibility;

UNE 11.7 User preferences: When software not designed to isolate from its platform provides a user interface, that interface must follow user preferences regarding measurement units, color, contrast, font type, font size, and focus cursor, unless overridden by the user.

UNE 11.8.1 Contentm management technology: To the extent that the information needed for accessibility is compatible with the format used for output from the authoring tool.

UNE 11.8.2 Creation of Accessible Content: Authoring tools must allow and guide the production of content in accordance with Chapters 9 (web pages) or 10 (non-web documents) (i.e., the AA level of WCAG 2.1).

UNE 11.8.3 Preservation of Accessibility Information During Transformations: If the authoring tool provides restructuring or recoding transformations and if the output content management technology has equivalent mechanisms, then accessibility information must be preserved in the output.

UNE 11.8.4 Repair Service: If an authoring tool’s accessibility checking functionality can detect if content does not meet a requirement from Chapters 9 (Web) or 10 (Non-web Documents), the tool must provide suggestions for its repair.

UNE 11.8.5 Templates: If an authoring tool provides templates, at least one template must be available and identified as such that is compatible with creating content in accordance with the requirements of Chapters 9 (Web) or 10 (Non-web Documents), as applicable.

UNE 12.2.2 Effective communication: Support services must provide information about accessibility features and compatibility included in the product documentation (e.g., built-in accessibility functions and functions that provide compatibility with assistive products).

UNE 12.2.3 Effective Communication: Support services for ICT must accommodate the communication needs of people with disabilities, either directly or through a referral point.

UNE 12.2.4 Accessible Documentation: Documentation provided by support services must be available in at least one of the following electronic formats:
